Made in Durham, NC, this Salsa Morita is a flavorful salsa made with dried Chile Morita as the star. Morita peppers are mildly smoky, sweet, and fruity with notes of blackberry (Morita translates to "little mulberry" in Spanish).

Our Salsa recipe is made from dried Morita Chiles and it is blended with Tomatillos, garlic and onion. As a result, you can enjoy a smoky, spicy and tangy delicious flavor. Our Morita salsa ranges usually from medium to hot.

It can be used a a cooking salsa, as well as a marinate on your meat or veggies of choice. It will also greatly complement any kind of grilled meat like pork, lamb, beef and chicken, and seafood as well. Think of shrimp, fish or scallops.
